Donna Mckevitt is a composer based in Kent. Highlights of her career so far include the release of her critically acclaimed opus one Translucence on Warner Classics. Her song cycles include settings of Paul Celan, e. e. cummings, Pablo Neruda and Maya Angelou which was premiered on WNYC Radio in New York last year.
Donna has worked in dance with Rosemary Butcher, Sadler’s Wells, Robert Cohan and The Yorke Dance Project, and Charlotte Edmonds. She has recently received an Aldeburgh residency and is currently working on an art installation with choreographer Phil Sanger based on Duchamp’s A Nude Descending a Staircase.
